James Stewart is considered by many to be one of the fastest MX and SX rider's in today's AMA racing field, and perhaps of all time.

Not one to be graceful once the gate drops, the #7 Yoshimura Suzuki rider is a force to be reckoned with on every occasion, injured or not.

Bubba or JS7 yields an aggression his counterparts are yet to live up to. He is a freak on two wheels and one of the most talented racers to ever ride a dirt bike. His line selection and the speed he can carry through that choice are not only to be admired but be inspired by.

Stewart brings the racing fraternity a raw combination of speed, style and personality with a blinding cheshire smile.

We catch up with the multi time Supercross Champion to get his views on his current standings, coming clean about the injury sustained whilst contesting A1 and finally his teeth whitening secrets.

Fullnoise: JS7 your'e currently tied in 7th position with the reigning #1 plate holder Ryan Villopoto heading into A3, How are you feeling about your standing's and are there any disappointments in regards to this result?

Stewart: You know it's not too bad, I'm tied with Villopoto for sure but he's the current SX Champion. So we are only a few points back from the leader (Davi Millsaps). Being this early, losing 18 points or whatever I lost, you know I can gain that back in two weeks obviously.

So I'm not that disappointed, I haven't really rode up to performance at all. If I felt like I was riding good and to be this far back then I'd be definitely disappointed. But I haven't, so we just need to start racing from here.

Fullnoise: Obviousy you sustained a pretty nasty injury from A1, which is infact a torn ACL. Clearly you are in a lot of pain, when it comes to gate drop time how do you switch your mind off away from the pain to focus on the race ahead and riding the RMZ 450 they way you know how?

Stewart: This week I got some good Doctor's, got some good shots and I feel a lot better. It's more so just when you know you're hurt then you ride different. I've been riding kind of timid, so I have just got to let that go.

I feel good this weekend and I've had a chance to ride this week, so going into A2 things should be different.

I actually rode twice this week so that was nice, like I said before I think this weekend should be different for me. I am feeling good to go racing.

Fullnoise: Do you have a racing ritual that prevents these type of incidents from happening such as lucky socks or a certain colour/pair of undies?

Stewart: NO!! (laughs) At some point you know, I fell some how, it don't matter what socks I got on I tell ya!! (laughs)

Fullnoise: What is your training weapon of choice away from the tracks?

Stewart: I love cycling. Where I live at, here in Laguna, it has some great mountain bike trails. When I'm at home I do the road ride's. I like to do a lot of training, I love it, I think it makes you look good!

Fullnoise: Exciting things are also happening away from the track, You have collaborated with Troy Lee Designs in launching your own technical apparel brand "Seven", which you have worn for the the first two rounds of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross, talk us through how it all started.

Stewart: Yeah it's going good we are really just getting started up with it. I went to Troy Lee and said "hey say can I use your machine shop, can I use some of your designers and stuff like that to design this gear".

The window started there, and then going on to basically having my own little Seven company inside of Troy Lee itself.

So it's special to be able to own something and to see the feedback on it. People love it and I know it's only the first stage but we will make it better.

Fullnoise: Finally your smile is blindingly white, so bright I need glasses on inside. Let me in on your whitening secret?

Stewart: MONEY!! (laughs) ALOT of money!! and a good Dentist. I don't know I keep them very very clean.

ORBIT GUM!! That's it Orbit (laughs)
