CFMOTO Australia has launched the 800MT-X LS, a low-seat variant offering reduced suspension travel and seat height for improved rider confidence, available now at an introductory ride-away price of $14,990.
CFMOTO Australia has expanded its adventure-touring lineup with the introduction of a new low seat variant of its popular 800MT-X. The 800MT-X LS offers the same proven platform as the standard model, now tailored for greater rider accessibility and confidence—especially at low speeds or when manoeuvring through challenging terrain.
At the heart of the 800MT-X LS is the same 799cc 285° parallel-twin engine producing 70kW at 8,500rpm and 87Nm of torque at 6,750rpm. However, key updates to the suspension setup distinguish this model from the standard version. The LS variant features reduced suspension travel (190mm front and rear), trimmed ground clearance (200mm, down from 240mm), and most notably, a significantly lower seat height of 830mm—40mm lower than the standard bike.
Importantly, this lowered stance is not achieved by altering the seat itself, but rather by revised suspension components designed to maintain the bike’s comfort and capability. CFMOTO expands its adventure touring lineup with the new 800MT-X LS, featuring a lower 830mm seat height and revised suspension, making it a more accessible option for a wider range of riders.
Despite the lowered profile, the 800MT-X LS retains all of the high-end features that define the 800MT-X range. These include a Bosch 6-axis IMU with cornering ABS, bi-directional quickshifter, switchable traction control, cruise control, three rider modes (Standard, Rain, and Off-Road), LED lighting, TPMS, a 22.5-litre fuel tank, a 7-inch vertical TFT display, and a rally-style one-piece seat.
The 800MT-X LS is available now in Nebula Black and is priced at $14,990 ride away, matching the introductory pricing of the standard model. It also qualifies for all current promotional offers and is covered by CFMOTO’s 3-Year Factory Warranty Program, which includes a one-year extension for owners who service their motorcycle exclusively through authorised dealers.
