CFMOTO Australia has released the second-generation 700MT, a mid-capacity adventure tourer that brings updated styling, improved ground clearance, and a raft of features at a competitive price point.
The 2025 model takes design cues from the brand’s larger 800MT, pairing a 693cc parallel-twin engine with a 20-litre fuel tank and a claimed range of over 400km. Output is listed at 50kW at 9,500rpm and 60Nm at 6,000rpm, with Bosch EFI, a slipper clutch, and revised intake and exhaust tuning.
For adventure use, the 700MT now offers 190mm of ground clearance (up from 170mm), 43mm fully adjustable inverted forks with 150mm travel, and an adjustable rear monoshock with 148mm travel. The 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked aluminium wheels, removable footpeg rubbers, bash plate, and foldable gear lever aim to support light off-road riding.
Rider comfort and convenience have also been addressed with heated grips and seat, an adjustable windscreen, handguards, and both USB Type A and Type C ports. Safety tech includes switchable dual-channel ABS, traction control, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
Navigation and connectivity are handled via a 5-inch TFT display with CFMOTO’s MotoPlay system, allowing Google Maps projection as well as features such as vehicle tracking, geofencing, and over-the-air updates through the brand’s app.

Two seat heights are available — the standard 800mm and an optional 840mm — while colour choices are Nebula Black or Nebula White.
The 2025 CFMOTO 700MT is available now in Australia at $10,490 ride away, backed by a three-year factory warranty when serviced through authorised dealers.
