His preferred setup remains the Renthal Full Diamond Soft grip, a product he now transfers from bike to bike to maintain a familiar feel.
Handlebars are another major part of rider comfort, particularly on the WR250F, which comes standard with a relatively tall front-end feel. Even small changes in bar height and bend can dramatically affect rider positioning, cornering feel, and overall comfort. By sticking with a familiar bend and flex characteristic across multiple bikes, riders can shorten the adjustment period when changing machines.

Hogan explains how using a familiar tyre combination allows riders to better understand suspension feel and chassis behaviour earlier in the setup process.
