
Zach Pichon capped off a stellar 2025 season by winning both the final AKRAPOVIC Super Test round and the overall series title at the GP of Germany in Zschopau, bringing the FIM EnduroGP World Championship season to a thrilling close.
A packed arena of fans witnessed an intense evening of racing as riders went head-to-head for the final time this year. Entering the event with a slender five-point lead over Josep Garcia, Pichon faced immense pressure to seal the series win.
Early in the session, Dominik Olszowy set a strong benchmark, forcing the frontrunners to dig deep. Taking to the track in the penultimate pairing, Pichon launched a full attack, edging out Olszowy by just 0.68 seconds to take the lead. With the German crowd on their feet, Garcia lined up against Andrea Verona, but a few small mistakes cost the KTM rider valuable time, leaving him unable to match Pichon’s pace.
That result handed Pichon both his first Super Test win of the year and the overall AKRAPOVIC Super Test series crown. Garcia had to settle for third behind Pichon and Olszowy, while Albin Norrbin claimed fourth, with Verona rounding out the top five. Local favourite Jeremy Sydow gave the home fans something to cheer about with sixth place aboard his Sherco Racing Factory machine.
In the Junior Enduro category, Germany’s Milan Schmusser posted the fastest time, while Romain Dagna topped the Youth Enduro class. The Expotrade Women’s Enduro division saw Francesca Nocera dominate, winning by more than nine seconds.
Reflecting on his victory, Pichon said he was thrilled to achieve one of his main goals for the season. “I’m super happy to come away with tonight’s victory and the overall series win. This was a big goal of mine this
