Yamaha Mini SX gets the all clear

Posted:

Southside Promotions has announced that the re scheduled date for the Yamaha Mini SX is Saturday April 29th 2006 at Frankston BMX track, Old Wells Road Seaford. The event was scheduled to take place on December 17th at Rutter park in Tooradin on the outskirts of Melbourne but was thwarted by local council bureaucracy. After months and months of hard work the Frankston City council are now at the point to where they are happy with preparations and are happy to support the event 100%. In the latest press release Southside Promotions stated: "At this point its just a matter of finalising all the bits and pieces to make the event run smoothly, we‰Ûªve been very cautious not to announce the event too soon before we were sure about everything and also that we gave ourselves enough time to do what we have to, to make the event a huge success. "We have inspected the track a few times and are extremely excited about the way it will all come together. We‰Ûªve met with the club president a few times about the preparation of the venue and the track surface itself; we‰Ûªre confident riders and spectators will be impressed and have a great day. "Most importantly we‰Ûªd like to thank EVERYONE for their ongoing support and patience especially the riders and sponsors. We apologise for the delay and promise to do everything in our power to make the event the best we can. Any suggestions are always welcome. "We will endeavour to get everything updated ASAP however entries are still available on our web page www.minisxopen.com. "Special thanks goes to Yamaha, Anger Mgmnt, Somerville Motorcycles, Electric, Globe, Ogio, AI design, ZeroFiveZero, Traction Industries and Fully 50‰Ûªs. "Look forward to seeing everyone there on the 29th of April!," the release concluded.
