Australia‰Ûªs fastest off-road dirt bike racers will descend on idyllic Buckenboura (near Moruya, NSW) next weekend (May 29th and 30th) for rounds five and six of the Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC).
Several riders from the NSW South Coast will be competing for class national titles in the series and will be continuing their bid with a home state advantage next weekend.
The series moves straight to Buckenboura after rounds three and four had to be canceled due to heavy rainfall (planned to be held at Conondale, Queensland).
An announcement about the Queensland rounds of the championship will be made shortly.
Rounds five and six - the only enduro-format races of the 2010 Yamaha AORC - are shaping up to be some of the best in the series.
The race is being organised by Motorcycling Australia in conjunction with highly experienced event coordinator, Lyndon Heffernan.
‰ÛÏThe event‰Ûªs coming together really well. Every weekend for the last month we‰Ûªve had a crew out cleaning out trails and we‰Ûªre having a big working bee this weekend,‰Û
