The FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) is set to break new ground in 2025 with the addition of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and London, UK, to its race calendar.

These new additions mark WSX’s first-ever Latin American stop and its debut in the English capital, underscoring the championship’s commitment to expanding supercross to a worldwide fanbases.

Partnering with EDV Entertainment, WSX will bring its championship to a cutting-edge stadium in central Buenos Aires, further cementing Argentina’s reputation as a global motorsport hub. Scheduled as an early-season highlight, the event promises to unite the city’s vibrant energy with the adrenaline of supercross racing.

WSX will also make its debut at the iconic London Stadium in October 2025. This marks a return to the UK after previous successful events in Cardiff and Birmingham. The event is set to be the UK’s sole international motocross and supercross competition of the year, delivering an unmissable spectacle at one of the world’s premier multi-use venues.

Tom Burwell, WSX CEO, highlighted the significance of these additions, stating, “Expanding WSX to new cities like Buenos Aires and London marks a defining moment for the championship. The world’s best supercross riders racing in these iconic cities reflects our commitment to growing the sport globally and delivering unforgettable experiences to fans everywhere. Bringing WSX to Latin America, with its vibrant culture and passionate supercross fanbase, has been a goal from the moment we took the reins of the championship earlier this year. London, with its world-class facilities and rich sporting legacy, is another perfect destination for WSX. We can’t wait to witness the incredible energy of fans in both cities and experience the electric atmosphere they’ll bring to the track.”

Riders Ken Roczen and Eli Tomac, fresh off the conclusion of the 2024 WSX season in Abu Dhabi, also shared their excitement. Roczen remarked on the passion of Latin American fans and the thrill of returning to the UK, while Tomac praised the championship’s bold expansion to iconic locations.

The 2025 WSX calendar, set to be revealed early next year, promises a dynamic mix of global destinations designed to further supercross’s reach. Building on its remarkable 2024 season, WSX is poised for an even bigger and better year ahead.
