From the world championship MotoGP stars right through to junior CRF50F riders, Honda will be the brand to be associated with at the upcoming 2013 Tissot Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
Honda is a company powered by dreams and no dream fuels the human spirit like the challenge of racing. Children as young as six will be geared up and on the grid to compete on board Honda‰Ûªs CRF50F in the Junior MotoGP Challenge.
Always eager to have an opportunity to engage the younger motorcycle fans, Honda is the proud sponsor of the event. For a chance to compete, kids aged 6-10 years are encouraged to visit Honda near the autograph stage to try out the CRF50F.
The 2013 MotoGP season has been a battle of the Honda RC213Vs to date with Marc Marquez breaking record after record in what is his rookie year in the premier class. Team mate Dani Pedrosa has been hot on his heels and together the pair has achieved an incredible 8 double podiums. This action is sure to continue when the Repsol Honda Team reach Phillip Island.
Honda superstar Casey Stoner will once again don his leathers and complete some display laps on board Honda‰Ûªs Limited Edition Repsol CBR1000RR. Alongside legends Mick Doohan and Wayne Gardner, the trio will be celebrating Stoner being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Spectators will be able to share the MotoGP excitement online via Honda‰Ûªs virtual photo booth inside the MotoGP Expo. Honda will be offering the opportunity to have a virtual photo taken with the popular Repsol Honda riders. With instant upload to facebook and a printed copy to take home, the photos will show the action and excitement of the 2013 MotoGP.
Displaying the diversity of the Honda range, the Honda Expo Stand will include Honda‰Ûªs legendary CBR1000RR, the brand new stripped back Goldwing F6B, the CBR500R along with counterparts CB500F and CB500X and more. Honda staff will be on site offering advice and information about the Honda range.
With a full range of Honda Merchandise available for purchase in the MotoGP Expo, Honda fans will be able to show their support for the Honda riders. With items including Repsol Honda Team apparel, Honda Heritage range and motocross styled items there is something for every Honda fan.
Adding more action to the weekend will be round 4 and 5 of the Australian Supercross Championships which will take place at Lukey Heights. Honda‰Ûªs 2014 CRF250R will be the star of the event showing off a myriad of advancements that will ensure this championship winning motocross machine will be even more competitive in 2014.
