Motorcycling Australia has announced the riders and Team Manager who will form the Women‰Ûªs Team that will take part in the 2008 Trial des Nations to be held in Andorra in September.
The Team Manager who has been appointed is Toby Coleman, while the three riders who will wear the green and gold are Michelle Owen, Brooke Lonie and Kristie McKinnon.
It is the first time that an Australian Women‰Ûªs Team will has been sent over to compete at the event, and continues the ongoing commitment from MA to put women‰Ûªs riding in Australia under the spotlight.
Speaking after the Team was announced, Coleman said that he felt this was a big leap forward for female riding in Australia, and believes that the Women‰Ûªs Team will be extremely competitive in Andorra.
