Western QBE Insurance has launched a NEW Fire & Theft policy for dirt bikes.
The 400 entrants at the recent Western QBE Moto Mayhem event in NSW were the first to hear the announcement that the insurance giant has come to market with a product tailor-made for owners of unregistered dirt bikes.
Michael Gallagher National Motorcycle Manager for Western QBE said "We identified a gap in the marketplace for a dirt bike policy designed by riders for riders. Like all of our other motorcycle specific policies Western QBE is all about looking after the riders and giving them what they want at an affordable price".
The Western QBE policy has a very low excess and the option of choosing an Agreed Value up to $20,000 or a Market Value policy for your dirt bike. Another important detail to note is that riders of all ages on all types of unregistered bikes - including quads, can be insured for Fire and Theft.
"Western QBE have been insuring motorcycles in Australia for over 30 years. In 2000 the Specialist Motorcycle Division was formed which has allowed us to tailor policies for niches within the industry. The unregistered dirt bike market is clearly one of those niches". Comprehensive cover is also available for registered dirt bikes.
"I am very excited to finally have a quality dirt bike product to offer our customers" said Michael Gallagher. It's taken some time to develop, but it's finally here now and worth the wait".
