Kawasaki‰Ûªs Jake Weimer moved one step closer to his first professional championship as he extended his AMA Supercross Lites points lead last Saturday night in Seattle to 19 points with only one race remaining .
The Pro Circuit Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had a difficult start to his night program. After leading the only practice session, Weimer crashed in the first turn of his heat race and then stalled his bike trying to work his way up through the field, eventually finishing in the final transfer spot.
