A quiet township in Victoria, which was once a Gold Rush boom town, will host the next rounds of Australia‰Ûªs premier off-road dirt bike racing championship.
Hundreds of competitors, fans and support crew will descend on Wedderburn, which is located about 200km‰Ûªs north-west of Melbourne, for the event on July 10th and 11th.
The rounds, dubbed the Yamaha Gold Rush AORC, are being organised by Motorcycling Australia in conjunction with the Bendigo Motorcycle Club.
Yamaha AORC coordinator, Denise Hore, said the event would be one not to miss for keen racers and trail riders alike.
‰ÛÏThe Yamaha AORC is not only for experienced enduro racers, but poses an excellent opportunity for trail riders to get a taste of national competition or motocross riders looking to try their hand in the bush,‰Û
