Temperatures might have been icy cold thanks to a Polar winter blast at Sunday‰Ûªs (July 14) seventh round of the MX Nationals at Maitland, NSW, but Penrite Pirelli CRF Honda Racing rider Kyle Webster was in red hot form as he charged to an exciting overall victory in the Pirelli MX2 class with a near perfect 2-1 moto score across the day.
Webster was on top of his game at Maitland aboard his Craig Bolton-prepared Honda CRF250R race bike ‰ÛÒ which was decked out in special ‰Û÷Retro round‰Ûª Penrite Oils tribute graphics ‰ÛÒ showing all the speed and style that saw him dominate rounds four and five of the championship at Murray Bridge in South Australia back in May.
Fourth fastest Qualifying time ‰ÛÒ amongst a pack of riders covered by less than one second from second to fifth fastest ‰ÛÒ started Webster‰Ûªs day on a high, and things only got better from there in the day‰Ûªs two MX2 championship motos.
‰ÛÏI felt strong on the bike and really gelled with the track from the moment we first rolled out there,‰Û
