Another huge season awaits Victorian quad racers, for season 2005; eight classes will be catered for. They are Pro, Expert, Clubman, Junior 250, Junior 90, Junior 50, Women and following the success at last year nationals, Jumbo Juniors (adults to 90cc) will return as a permanent fixture on the calendar.
Round one kicks into gear at Newry on March 13th, then a week later round two at Castlemaine.
"It's going to be a huge year, says Victorian quad race coordinator, Mark Beechey, more classes, ten rounds and many new competitors will ensure that Victorian quad racing continues to march forward. For 2005 we will also see the Yamaha Quad MX Nationals held once again in Victoria. This event is set to move around the country with South Australia the possible location for 2006".
Yamaha, for the fifth consecutive year, will once again be back with support by way of naming rights sponsor for the Victorian series,
"Yamaha's support has been fantastic and allows Vic quad riders to enjoy a very healthy sport, added Beechey. The Vic quad club‰Ûªs committee, work very hard to ensure quad mx racing receives the accolades it deserves and to again have Yamaha‰Ûªs support just makes our job that much easier". he concluded.
