The 3rd Annual Victoria vs South Australia State Challenge kicks off this weekend at the Horsham Motocross Complex.
South Australia took out the inaugural event in 2008.
In 2009 Victoria took the trophy back across the border with the series expanded to 2 rounds after Murray Bridge Motorcycle Club asked if they could host a return round.
President of the Horsham Motorcycle Club,
Mark Hancock said the Club and track was ready for racing and with a good weather forecast this weekend it promises to once again be a great event.
Hopefully the forecasters have got it right and we get a couple of overnight light showers to take the pressure off the club and provide awesome riding conditions he said.
"We hosted the 1st round of the Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals 3 weeks ago and the track has been prepared identically for the State Challenge which is fitting for an event of this status," Hancock said
"The uniqueness of the event is that every competitor, no matter their age, gender or ability actually represents their home state and can gain points going towards their overall State point score."
