Grant "Goba" O'Brien is the former editor of Freerider and Trailbike Adventure magazines and is now roaming the world as a freelance photojournalist. He sent us this email from the Dakar and it was such a good read we thought you all may like a look.
"I've just returned from following the first few days of the Dakar Rally that started in Lisbon, Portugal, then wound its way south to Portimao then east into Malaga, Spain, where it crossed by ferry to Africa continuing its journey all the way to Dakar," Goba wrote. "It felt so good to get out of Paris ‰ÛÒ where I've been living for the past six weeks ‰ÛÒ and feel the adrenalin run through my veins once again as each adventurous day unfolded".
