The KTM Australian Enduro-x nationals 2014 has received the tick of approval from world number two ranked Enduro-x rider Mike Brown, from USA.
Brown touched down at Sydney airport this morning and was met by Toby Price, with his first stop being to check out the track preparation at Sydney‰Ûªs Valvoline raceway in Parramatta where the Enduro-x is being held on this Saturday night February the 15th.
After a quick run through the Fox rocks garden, the Motul Mountain, the Pirelli Tyres jump and Insuremyride logs on foot and Brown and Price began to compare lines and race strategy.
‰ÛÏThis track is amazing, its open air and has more room than we get back home and the obstacles are world class." Brown stated. "It‰Ûªs not going to be easy.
"I can‰Ûªt wait to get to race on it," he added.
Toby Price was also impressed by the layout that looks as though it is going to be a lot more technical than the course layout at the opening round in Brisbane.
"It‰Ûªs a lot more technical than the first round and the riders will find it a lot harder to race on." Price commented. "A new section of river rocks containing a creek section with running water will be a highlight.
"I am like Mike, I can‰Ûªt wait to get out on it."
KTM Australian Enduro-x Nationals promoter Dave Robbins is pleased to have a world class rider of the likes of Brown in Australia to contest the final two rounds of the inaugural KTM Australian Enduro-X Championships.
‰ÛÏWe are really pleased to have Mike Brown come out from USA and race this event.," Robbins admitted.
"After our first round in Brisbane last week the riders wanted the track a little more technical. We have been able to achieve that for this Sydney round and the track is made for close racing.
"We have tested the lights and we think the crowd will be in for a great night of entertainment. We know our top Australian riders are world class and it will be interesting to see how world renown rider USA rider, Mike Brown takes on the Australian talent.‰Û
