The decision was announced today by promoter Williams Event Management and applies to Round 6 in Toowoomba on June 24 and Round 7 in Mackay on 1 July.
In its debut season, the Under 19‰Ûªs class has been the surprise of the 2007 series, producing some of the most competitive racing this year. Series Director Kevin Williams says he is very pleased to see the young riders rise to the challenge.
‰ÛÏWe said at the outset that if the opportunity came up would we like to grant some wild cards to the top Under 19‰Ûªs Championship riders. The Yamaha Under 19‰Ûªs Australian Championship has produced some of the best racing this year and it will be great to see these young guys in the Pro-Lites class,‰Û
