Toby Price claimed three stage wins on his way to helping Australia maintain second position after day two of the 2012 edition of the International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) in Saxony, Germany overnight.

Australia's six man Trophy team all had a consistent and strong second day with all riders consistently at the pointy end of each stage, the final stage of the day being a stand-out with Price and Josh Strang finishing first and second, while the remainder of the team all finished inside the top 36 positions

Price was also able to move himself into 5th place out right and second in the E3 class. Daniel Milner and Matthew Phillips sit in 5th place in the E1 and E2 classes respectively and Josh Strang is currently 7th in the E2 class.

"Better day today, sucked in the enduro test but the rest were good, won 3 of the six special tests outright and have moved into 5th outright and 2nd in class" Price commented via Facebook.

"Front wheel is better but still bit bent up but it should make it. 4days to go,Thanks for your support everyone" he continued.

While Australia had another strong day, it was no match for the mighty French team who increased their overall lead.

The French team are dominating this years event with their riders currently holding down the top four individual outright positions as well as leading all three individual classes and currently as a team have over a 12 minute lead over Australia.

Italy currently lie in third position, just under five minutes behind Australia.

Australia's Junior Trophy team slipped out of the top three yesterday to fourth position, just over one minute behind third placed team, The United States.

It was a tough day for the Junior team who lost the services of Ben Burrell on stage two.. Early reports suggest that Burrell's bike stopped during the second stage, for now the reason why is not clear.

Australia's remaining three riders of Luka Bussa, Mitcham Harper and Lachlan Stanford are still within striking distance of 3rd place, but are currently 7 minutes behind class leader Britain and just over six minutes behind 2nd placed France.

Jessica Gardiner once again led the way for our nations Women's Trophy team, finishing second in four of the days six stages, with her worst result being two third place stage finishes.

Gardiner continues to lay second in the Women's class behind French rider, Ludivine Puy who is yet to drop a stage win.

Tanya Hearn is the second place Australian Female rider in 10th position and continues to put in solid stage results while Tayla Jones continues to have and up and down ISDE picking up two second place stage finishes during day two but slipping to 17th in class.

The strong effort again by all three Women sees Australia maintain is second position in class, 14 minutes behind France and just over 8 minutes ahead of third placed Germany.
