Toby Price and Peter Boyle Eye Round Two of KTM Enduro-X Nationals

Posted:

KTM Enduro Racing Team riders Toby Price and Peter Boyle are looking to further improve their positions in the standings of the KTM Enduro-X Nationals, when the series continues at Parramatta this Saturday night.

The pair began promisingly a fortnight ago at Brisbane's Archerfield Speedway with Price and Boyle showing great track speed, however the pair struggled with starts in the slippery conditions and finished third and fourth respectively behind Yamaha's Chris Hollis and Daniel Milner.

Price and his KTM350SX-F were a consistently quick partnership, winning the fastest lap shootout and finishing with three third places, and proving that his recovery from a serious spinal injury suffered in April 2013 is complete.

‰ÛÏAlways a podium is good but at the end of the day you want to win and that's what I get paid to do and what everyone wants to see happen. I started off the series without any real pressure after my injury but I always want to do well." Price commented.

"It wasn't meant to happen in Brisbane but I've been working on a few things just to get the bike a bit better dialled and now I'm feeling good. With the husky team coming in and Brownie in the mix it should be a strong field and good fun.

"I think the word is out now that Brisbane was a good event and a few extra people might be keen to ride this one. The main thing is to get the word out to the crowds because Colin and Dave Robinson are doing a great job and trying their hardest to give us a great series.

"The competition will be harder this time round is a great spectacle. I'll be out there to do the best I can and we‰Ûªll see what happens," he added.
Boyle was impressive in winning the first of three finals in the brand-new championship on his KTM250EXC-F before finishing fourth overall and will be out to finish higher overall this weekend in Sydney.

‰ÛÏI'm definitely looking for a better finish this time." Boyle stated. "I didn‰Ûªt get the best result last round; I got bad starts and caught up in some rocks and the other two but I won the first race so that gives me the confidence to know I'm fast enough to win.

"Now I‰Ûªm just looking forward to going to Sydney and getting back into it.‰Û
