Motocross fans this is your chance to become a member at one of Australia‰Ûªs premier motocross tracks.
The Sporting Motorcycle Club (Geelong, Vic) is holding its annual Open Day on the 6th March at 10.30am for
the 2005/06 Season. The club caters for Motocross, Trials, Vintage MX, Enduro and Trail riding.
While most motocross tracks charge per usage charging upwards of $40 a ride. The SMCC charges one up front fee that
allows you to use the track for the whole year.
At the Open Day you will be able to become a member of the SMCC, receiving the key to the track and your membership card.
Once you are a member you will be able to ride the track for the first time since it was closed for maintenance in January.
The track has hosted state and national competitions and is widely regarded as one of the best motocross tracks in Australia.
The club has more then 300 financial members and is looking to build on this and become one of the strongest sporting clubs
in Geelong.
Located on Haines Rd Barrabool and is surrounded by 180å¡ panoramic views of the You Yang‰Ûªs mountains and Barrabool hills
providing a spectacular and serene backdrop.
