Aussie Line Up: Josh Strang (XC1)

This weekend, June 21 and 22, the 2014 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, makes its way to Snowshoe Mountain Resort for the eighth running of the AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCC.

The ninth round serves as a pinnacle moment in the 13-race championship as it's one last opportunity for riders to build confidence before heading into a two-month break for the summer.

For XC1 Pro points leader Kailub Russell, momentum hasn't been a problem this season and the reigning champion looks to keep the ball rolling with a third consecutive win this weekend.

FULLNOSIE.COM.AU's Weekend Ahead
This weekend we are heading off to take part in Rounds 7 and 8 of the Australian Off-Raod Championships aboard our 2014 Suzuki RM-Z 250!

The event will mark our first race on our new project bike and to tell the truth we are more than a little excited. This is the second straight year we have contested this event and with that in mind we have leaned on some great support this weekend to make sure we are ready to go.

The great guys over at MX1 Australia have helped us out with an Acerbis Skid Plate to both protect the frame and some vital engine parts from the rocks and logs we are sure to face, while John Titman Racing have expressed posted a set of Racetech hand-guards over for the weekend.

Also a last minute addition to the bike for the weekend was a set of Raptor Titanium Footpegs thanks to Mainmoto.com.au, make sure you head over to their site and get yourself some of these fantastic footpegs.

Apart from these three additions and of course our ODI Emig Signature V2 Lock on grips, the remainder of the bike is completely stock for this event. From levers, exhaust, chain, sprockets, wheels, tyres and everything in between.

Keep an eye out after this weekend as we continue to add to our Suzuki RM-Z 250 in the lead up to Hattah in just two weeks time.

THAT's A WRAP

As always be sure to keep an eye on the Fullnoise.com.au Social Pages over the weekend for some images and updates regarding the weekends racing.

Then check the front page of the Fullnoise.com.au site on Monday for our MONDAY MOTOBOARD Presented by TM Racing Australia for a full list of results from all racing over the weekend.

Again for 2014 if there are any events at your local club that you would like to have added to the Dirty Weekend Ahead, email details to mail@fullnoise.com.au
