NATIONAL
Matt Moss carries the Australian Supercross Championship Red Plate into Phillip Island this weekend.
2013 Australian Supercross Championship Rounds 4 and 5:

Rounds four and five of the 2013 Terex Australian Supercross Championship heads to Phillip Island in Victoria in a round that will prove to be crucial for the championship front runners in the two big classes.

Matt Moss leads the way into the weekend leading narrowly over his twin brother Jake Moss, while the two American imports of Weston Peick and Josh Hill look set to strike sitting in 3rd and 4th respectively. Hill also has the added bost of confidence coming of the win at the previous round held in Mount Gambier last weekend.

In the SX lites class it is 2013 MX Nationals champion, Luke Styke who leads the way from reigning Supercross Champion, Gavin Faith. Faith who hails from the United States of America, won the opening round of the year from Styke, before the two riders switched positions at round two.

Round three looked like it was going to be another head to heat battle between the duo until a crash from Faith left Styke with an easy win, while Faith himself finished 5th.

Joining the men out on track this weekend will be the Women as they take part in the inugural EVE Australian Women's Supercross Championship. The three round series will be conducted over three days at Phillip Island, with the championship expected to be a tight three way battle between, Australia's Meghan Rutledge, America's Jessica Patterson and Japans, Sayaka Kaneshiro.

Also in action this weekend will the Under 19s class lead by Jay Wilson, the Junior Lites lead by Brock McLeary, Freestyle Motocross headed by Cam Sinclair and also a KTM Mini Masters class for the young kids on 50cc machines.
