Welcome to THE DIRTY WEEKEND AHEAD, presented by Fullnoise.com.au, our weekly look at the events and riders that will be in action throughout the coming weekend.

From International Events and Races that Australians and even our New Zealand friends are competing in, to national events and even a list of as many local state events we can find.

NATIONAL
Daniel Milner carries the points lead in to this weekends AORC Championship
2013 Australian Off-Road Championship

Daniel Milner leads Australia's best Off-Road talent to Bendigo in Victoria for rounds 9 and 10 of the 2013 Australian Off-Road Championship.

Milner carries a handy points lead in to the round over KTM's Chris Hollis but with four rounds spread over two weekends worth of racing remaining this years championship is well and truly up for grabs.

Along with the outright championship, there is also a tight battle through the E1, E2 and E3 class along with the Vets, Masters, Women's and Junior classes.

INTERNATIONAL

2013 Lucas Oils Pro Motocross Championship Round 11: Salt Lake City
Will Ryan Villopoto wrap up the American Motocross Championship this weekend
Aussie Line Up: Chad Reed (450)

Ryan Villopoto and Eli Tomac could possibly wrap up their respective titles this weekend. A 44 point in the 450 class for Villopoto over KTM's Ryan Dungey, means a 1-1 result for Villopoto this weekend will secure the 2013 title. In fact if Villopoto can score six more points than Dungey in anyway possible he will wrap up the title this weekend.

In the Lites class wrapping up the title will be a little more difficult needing to earn 12 more points than nearest rival Ken Roczen, but a solid showing this weekend from Tomac will leave him in a near unbeatable position.

Australia will only have the one representative this weekend in Chad Reed, as Michael Byrne recovers from a leg injury suffered last weekend and Brett Metcalfe returns to Canada for the final round of the Canadian MX Championship.

Edit: Byrne was out at Press Day at Miller Motorsport Park and looks like he will be racing this weekend.

2013 World Motocross Championship Round 15: Belgium
If Antonio Cairoli does not wrap up the world MX1 title this weekend he is sure to do it the following week at the penultimate round of the 2013 series
Aussie Line Up: Dean Ferris

Like his American counterparts, Antonio Cairolli is in a position to wrap up the 2013 World MX1 championship this weekend in Belgium. The Italian rider just needs to out score Clement Desalle this weekend to win yet another world title.

Though with Desalle going 1-1 at the last round and with this weekends round being a home race for his team, the title may not be wrapped up by Cairoli until a week later at round 16.

The MX2 class is all over with the only real interest left in the series being Jeffery Herlings aiming to win every round of the championship or for us Aussies, watching Dean Ferris score another podium and hopefully ruining Herlings perfect season!

2013 Canadian Monster Energy MX Nationals Round 9:
Brett Metcalfe already has the 2013 Canadian MX Championship wrapped up but will be aiming for another round win this weekend.
Aussie Line Up: Brett Metcalfe

Australia's interest in the Canadian MX Championship come to a conclusion this weekend with the final round being held at Walton Raceway on Sunday. Aussie Brett Metcalfe wrapped up the series last time out at round eight but will once again be in action at this weekends final round to finish of the season.

2013 World Speedway Championship Round 8: Terenzano - Italy

Aussie Line Up: Darcy Ward

Emil Sayfutdinov carries the championship lead in to round 9 of the 12 round World Speedway Championship this weekend in Italy. The rider from the Ukraine now only has a five point lead over Tai Woffinden after his countryman pulled back eight points at round eight.

Australia's Chris Holder is still 5th in the championship standing, however the current World Champion will not be in action for the remainder of the season as he recovers from some big injuries sustained in a race leading to the the Speedway world cup a couple of weeks back.
