Troy Carroll and Shane Metcalfe both returned to the Australian Supercross Nationals in Adelaide but for different reasons.

Carroll was also returning from injury after suffering two slipped discs in his back after coming up short on a triple jump at round 1 of the series in Sydney.

Carroll returned along side team-mates Cameron Taylor and Daniel McCoy

Sports Entertainment Limited (SEL), used Metcalfe's local popularity by asking him to be a guest commentator for the round alongside ex champion Lee Hogan and television personality Jonny Pollard.

Despite Kawasaki having a 250F available, James Stewart demoralised the field taking an easy 21 second win aboard his 125 two stroke, leading home a trio of 250 four strokes lead by Suzuki's Broc Hepler.
