Team Gresini racing Moto2 to feature colours of Crimea Grand Prix Circuit

Posted:

Stepracing Team Ltd, the company responsible for the construction of the Crimea Grand Prix Circuit, has chosen Team Gresini Racing‰Ûªs Moto2 project as the promotional vehicle for their new and important sports facility.

The creation of a new circuit always generates huge interest but that excitement and intrigue is multiplied when it is taking place in an area bereft of international-standard facilities.

The first stone of the Crimea Grand Prix Circuit was laid in 2009 in the Sakskiy district in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the only autonomous republic of Ukraine. It is an ambitious project spearheaded by the ‰Û÷master‰Ûª of circuit design, Hermann Tilke, and work is due to be completed in 2011.

The presence of Russian rookie Vladimir Ivanov in Team Gresini Racing‰Ûªs Moto2 line-up this season gives extra value to the Crimea Grand Prix Circuit‰Ûªs sponsorship of the team, who will offer them a valuable means of promotion.

"We are glad that we have started to collaborate with Fausto Gresini's Team," said Anatoly Kuchmin co-owner of Stepracing Team Ltd.

"We hope that our joint work influences fruitful on Vladimir Ivanov's results and also advance of our aspiration for holding one of Moto GP events on the race track Crimea Grand Prix Circuit which at the present moment is in the process of building by our company Stepracing Team Ltd. In case of successful holding of current championship our company will consider a question concerning continuation of partnership with Honda Gresini Team.‰Û
