Fullnoise: It is not over for you yet either, you have just confirmed that you will be heading to the U.S to race, what events will you be racing.
Tayla: Yep that's rights. My dad and I leave in a weeks time for the US. I will be racing in the final two rounds of the GNCC series as well as doing the Full Gas Enduro sprint and a round of the WMX while I am there before flying straight to Argentina to race the ISDE.
Fullnoise: How did the American events come about and what are your expectations while you are over there.
Tayla: I have always wanted to race in America and we have just been waiting for the right time and we though that this would be a perfect time to go over and check things out.
I don't really have any expectations on how I will go. Its just going to be a learning trip to see how things go. In saying that I am also not going over there to come last.
Fullnoise: Are you hoping it will lead to more racing in the U.S in 2015?
Tayla: Yep that's the plan. We'll go over this year and feel it out and try and line up something so that next year I can try and get over there and do a few more races and see how it goes from there.
Fullnoise: After your U.S trip you head straight to Argentina to defend the Womens Cup along with Jessica Gardiner and Gemma Wilson for team Australia, how much are you looking forward to heading back to defend the ISDE title.
Tayla: I am pretty keen for the six day. It is always a lot of fun and its great being there as a team. We will be defending our title and there is no way that we want to loose it so there is going to be some great racing. I have never been to Argentina but apparently it is going to be dry and rocky and we have had some great preparation for that with the 4 day this year as it was just a dust bowl.
Fullnoise: Thanks for your time Tayla, I am sure there are a lot of people you would like to thank for their support, who is it that has helped you through the 2014 season.
Tayla: No worries. Yep I sure do, all of my sponsors and great and I wouldn't be here without them. Geoff and Mel from Waratah Lawn Care have been my biggest help this season, they are such awesome people and have done so much for me I can't thank them enough.
Also Bob at Highway Performance bikes for helping me out with my KTMS, Ross Mcwaters at MCD for doing all of mechanical work, Rachael and the guys at TeeNCee Graphics for always making my bike look awesome and everyone else.
