Staring Out To Win With Kawasaki And Pedercini In Superstock 1000

Posted:

Australia‰Ûªs Bryan Staring rejoins Team Pedercini for a full-scale attempt at the 2015 FIM Superstock World Cup title, riding the awesome Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.

Staring is no stranger to the Kawasaki family, having ridden the latter part of 2014 in Superbike for the Grillini team in the WSB Evo class, and with Pedercini in the Superstock 1000 division during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

Bryan scored three race wins on the Ninja ZX-10R on the way to fourth overall in the 2012 Superstock campaign.

Based in Italy in the racing season, but currently at home in Australia for the southern hemisphere‰Ûªs summer months, Bryan returns to the Pedercini team with vast recent experience, including a season of MotoGP competition in 2013. He will partner Romain Lanusse, who was recently re-confirmed with the Pedercini Superstock team for 2015.

The 27 year-old is eligible for Superstock racing once more because of a change in the regulations, allowing riders up to 28 years of age to participate in the 2015 season.

Superstock 1000 FIM Cup races will feature at eight rounds during the overall WSB season, with Staring and Lanusse‰Ûªs first race weekend taking place at Motorland Aragon between 10 and 12 April.

‰ÛÏSigning for Kawasaki and Pedercini to race in Superstock again has been like a breath of fresh air." Staring said. "I feel like I have a fighting chance.

"I am thanking my lucky stars that I could turn back to Superstock because all I want to do is be competitive in some form of world championship racing. This is by far the best opportunity I could have had in the WSB paddock.

"I could not be happier than to come back to Superstock with Kawasaki as I feel we have such a good relationship. This year we have a pretty big goal to reach and I think it is quite achievable because we have all the right tools.

"Winning the championship is the goal, as it should be every year, and I think we should be in a position to do that this year.‰Û
