July proved busy for Honda SMART with another 4 schools being conducted, bringing the tally to 23 in 2010.
SMART (Supercross. Motocross. Accredited. Rider. Training) originally started as a coaching program aimed at improving the talents of Australian motocross and supercross racers. Today SMART has programs for riders of all levels ‰ÛÒ beginner through to elite. The programs are tailor made to suite the riders and their respective disciplines (Fun bike entry level riding, Enduro, Motocross, Supercross and Freestyle Motocross).
The Honda SMART program recently ran an advanced rider training course in Moe, Victoria on the Blue Rock circuit. The capacity filled school provided students with ample track time and coaching from Australian Champions Troy Dorron, Jye Harvey and state A-grader Ben Williams.
Billy Jackson who participated on the day accredited his following weekend‰Ûªs results to the additional coaching and time track ‰ÛÒ
‰ÛÏI have done Honda Smart schools for a long time and the advanced rider program gives us more of an opportunity to learn the track and fix up the little things that needs working on. After doing the school two weeks ago I raced the Victorian titles. I finished equal 2nd in A-grade 250cc 4stroke class which is a credit to their support‰Û
