Scorpa Australia, headed by long time trials enthusiast Paul Arnott has taken over the importation and sales of the Scorpa brand of motorcycles in Australia, Scorpa was previously imported by Moto-Central in Canberra. Scorpa make a range of Moto-Trials bikes that are powered by Yamaha. All the bikes previously produced have been competition trials bikes but they are now branching out into some pretty wild little bikes like the 4Tricks which is a Mountain bike come Trials bike. At only 37 kilos the limited edition 4Tricks stunt bike is certainly a new direction in motorcycling. The French built bike features a 70cc 4-stroke engine, Mikuni carburettor, 4 speed manual-automatic transmission, and Domino throttle. Stopping comes courtesy of lever operated double-piston Magura 180-mm disc brakes on both the front & rear. The 20" wheels are shod with trials tread tires (2" wide front and 2.5" wide rear). Suspension is by Magura forks and rear shock. With an aluminium skid plate, fully enclosed chain guard, pivoting bike peddle size pegs, and unique fuel in frame design, this bike looks trick and is built to the highest build levels Scorpa motorcycles are famous for across Europe. These specialised crossover bikes are arriving in Australia as we write and will retail for just under $5000. You can find more details on the bikes at www.scorpaaustralia.com Main Photo: Scorpa 4Tricks
