After years of shadow dwelling, Ryan Marmont emerges as lead rider for the KTM factory team at M2R Supercross Masters, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on October 6.
Marmont will ride the 450cc machine in Pro Open class‰Û_ his first supercross appearance in Opens and a forerunner to KTM‰Ûªs 2008 plans.
And while Marmont has dominated the Lites ranks over the past two years ‰ÛÒ two Australian supercross titles and a motocross crown ‰ÛÒ he has performed less onerous duties than elder brother Jay Marmont.
But Jay‰Ûªs defection to Craig Dack‰Ûªs CDR Yamaha squad has provided the key for the elevation to lead rider of Ryan.
Motorex KTM team manager Ross McWatters had no hesitation in overseeing the promotion.
