Race Pace, the promoters of the East Cost MX Championship have confirmed that the opening round which was called off has been rescheduled for the 16th and 17th of February at Appin.
Originally the race was due to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of February at Appin, however heavy rains in the lead up to the race and more expected rain on race day, forced the organisers to call off the meeting on the eve of the event.
"I am absolutely devastated that I have had to postpone Rnd1 of the East Coast MX Series at Appin." Michel Constantinou from Race Pace promotions stated. "I can‰Ûªt apologise enough to everyone, especially the people who have travelled long distances and lost accommodation.
"There are no right decisions and I know I can‰Ûªt please everyone, but I am going to keep trying anyway," he added.
The 2013 East Cost MX Championships will be ran over 7 rounds throughout New South Wales and Canberra.
