The 2012 Smarter than Smoking Western Australian State Motocross Championships heads to Noble Falls this weekend for Round 5 of the championship.
The prestigious WA State Round Series heads to the picturesque town of Gidgegannup this coming Sunday for Round 5 of what has been a great series in 2012.
Dean Porter is dominating the Pro Open Championships with 12 wins from 12 starts leading by 82 points from his nearest rival Josh Adam on 218, Craig Bolton 183, Luke Davis 165 and Sam Reeves at 132 rounds out the top 5.
Porter is putting in faultless moto‰Ûªs rarely making a mistake, but with Louis Calvin Back in the mix, all the front runners will need to be on their" A Game" to secure a podium.
Calvin the recent winner of the BSA Cup had been sidelined with injury and will be a welcome return to the Pro Grid.
Dean Porter proved once again that he is in top form when he finished as a podium placegetter in the King of the Cross last weekend behind 4 time winner Jay Marmont.
Porter has headlined most WA press releases winning the double at multiple rounds and he leads the Pro Lite class on 290 points in front of Josh Adams 229, Ashley Whisler 199, David Birch 191 and Robbo Lovett on 264 points.
In the Quad Championship Class Luke Gaisford leads on 283 from King of the Cross winner Ryan Lancaster 269, Joel Mortimer 211, Jordan Dummett 184 and Andrew Vincent on 182 points.
While the Men have one more round after this weekend, the Noble falls round will mark the final round for the Women and their three round series.
The Women's MX Championship finale for 2012 will be a crowd drawer with the Courtney Hirst and Jess Moore both on equal points after their first 6 races at Collie and Southern Cross.
Storme Green and Shelley Connor are close behind with WA current #1 Chelsea Blakers in 5th. The unforgiving Noble Falls circuit will see some fast action packed racing amongst the 16 rider strong grid.
Noble Falls is a fast track when dry and never fails to provide some amazing highlights to the years show reel of racing, and this year will see new riders in all classes race for podium positions.
Action will get underway at 9am Sunday the 12th of August at the Noble Falls circuit on the Corner of Aspen and Toodyay Rd Gidgeganup.
