Australia's best Off Road Riders come together again this weekend for Round 3 and 4 of the Yamaha Australian Off Road Championship.
These 2 Rounds will be similar and include aspects of the A4DE. It is designed to give the riders opportunity to practice their skills for this all important great race.
All of the manufacture teams will be in attendance, including the biggest Off Road
Team ‰ÛÒ Ballard‰Ûªs Off Road Team, Motorex Shift KTM, Husqvarna Racing, GHR Honda, Team Moto and Christensen‰Ûªs Motorcycles.
After Rounds 1 and 2 leading the Outright position is the defending
Champ AJ Roberts (GHR Honda). He is stating his dominance again this year; closely followed by
Brad Williscroft (Wonka) riding for Motorex Shift KTM Off Road Team and also flying the flag high for the Ballards Off Road Team is
Chris Hollis and
Jarrod Bewley.
Championship Enduro 1 Class ‰ÛÒ Chris Hollis is holding the lead on 50 points from Motorex Shift KTM rider
Ben Kearney on 44 points and Yamaha rider
Damian Smith is in 3rd place on 40 points.
Championship Enduro 2 Class ‰ÛÒ GHR Honda rider
AJ Roberts is leading the class with 50 points after easily winning the class at Rd 1 & Rd 2,
Brad Williscroft is chasing AJ on 44 points and trying the close the gap is Christensen‰Ûªs Motorcycles rider
Blake Hore on 38 points and
Shannon Lewry (Ballards Off Road Team) is holding down 4th place on 34 points.
Championship Enduro 3 Class: Ballards Off Road Team rider
Jarrod Bewley got a comfortable start with 50 points after two great wins at Rd 1 & Rd 2,
Jehi Willis (Motorex Shift KTM Off Road Team) is in 2nd Place with 44 points and
Adam Lees (Husaberg) &
Kirk Hutton (Team Moto Racing) are both tied for 3rd place on 38 points.
Championship Veterans: Motorex Shift KTM Off Road Team rider
Stuart Bennett and
Jason Cater (Ballards Off Road Team) are tied on 47 points for 1st place with
Grant Siebenhausen on 40 points and
Jason Salorayevs and
Garry Dukes on 34 points.
Championship Masters: Ballards Off Road Team rider
Geoff Ballard has taken the lead on 50 points in this Class from
David Rose on 44 points and
Steven Clarke on 40 points.
Championship Women‰Ûªs:
Alison Parker riding for Ballard Off Road Team is leading on 50 points from the Lalonde sisters with Leigh in 2nd place and Rosie in 3rd place.
