The final chapter of Chad Reed‰Ûªs Super X title defence will be played out tomorrow as the Monster Energy Kawasaki rider contests round 7 of the championship at Brisbane‰Ûªs QSAC.
Reed has come on strong in the second half of the season after overcoming a number of obstacles and coming to grips with his new ride, the KX450F.
The only fortnight break in competition allowed the 27-year-old to spend some valuable testing time with his mechanic and crew in preparation for tomorrow‰Ûªs clash.
If he wins it will be his second title for 2009, having already claimed honours in the AMA Motocross championship.
