Australia‰Ûªs most successful Supercross racer, Chad Reed, has been confirmed to compete in the Terex Australian Supercross Championships at the 2012 AirAsia Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island next week.
Reed, 30, learnt to ride at a young age in his hometown of Kurri Kurri and quickly ascended to the international ranks of the sport, becoming one of the world‰Ûªs best.
The four-time Australian Supercross Champion will set Phillip Island alight with the trademark speed and style that has also earned him two AMA/World Supercross Championship titles.
The Terex Australian Supercross Championships round, promoted by International Entertainment Group (IEG), will take place on a purpose-built track in the Lukey Heights precinct at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
Up to 120 competitors will race in round two of the championship on the Saturday and Sunday of the Australian MotoGP event. At no extra cost, there will be prime spectator viewing for all event ticket holders.
Reed is making a return to racing at the Monster Energy Cup in Las Vegas this weekend, after an eight-month break due to injury and is pumped to be homeward bound for the 2012 AirAsia Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
