For the Queensland Yamaha Girls Team (QYGT), the preparation has been done and
they are hungry for the start of their 2009 Motocross Season.
2008 saw the QYGT conquer Queensland dominating virtually all women‰Ûªs motocross events,
picking up 2 state titles and even a runner up in the Australian Dirt Track Championships on
their way to becoming arguably the countries best all women‰Ûªs team.
So it is no surprise that the trio of; multiple QLD Champ Tamara Gray, regular front runner
Brooke Thiemann, and young gun Courtney Knight are eager to start their 2009 campaign
again with Yamaha on their new 2009 YZ250F machines.
Entering her third year with the team, City
Yamaha rider Tamara Gray will be seeking
to retain her Queensland #1 plate. With
her strong desire to build on last year‰Ûªs
performance, the 25 year old is keen to get
her teeth in to the Australian Women‰Ûªs
Motocross Championships, an event which
she missed with injury last year.
‰ÛÏ2008 was a building year for me, a
valuable step for getting over the serious
injury I had the year before.‰Û
