The Off Road Masters had its inaugural race last year at Fort Lytton MX circuit QLD and promised to be bigger and
better than ever with a larger corporate following in it‰Ûªs second year. Unfortunately the weather put the
mocker on the event. With spectators down due to the temperature (28degrees plus) and with wind gusts of up to
30knots it didn‰Ûªt make it comfortable for spectators.
The weather also made the track difficult to ride with a huge amount of dust being created in most
classes all be it that there were to big mud puddles on the track!
A disappointing rider turn out saw around 80 plus riders compete for the days prizes with a few
popular names among them.
In the Pro 250 class Peter Melton showed dominance in the first 2 races creating his own race pace, however in the
third and final race Luke Nelson passed him for a well deserved victory. Scott bishop finished third on the day
also competing in the 125 Pro events as well.
