For any privateer riders or teams wanting to give us a run down on their weekend and thank their sponsors, simply email Fullnoise.com.au at PR@Fullnoise.com.au, with a brief overview of your weekend, a one or two paragraph quote on you personal reflections on the weekend and a list of people and sponsors you would like to thank.

While we will edit the reports a little to suit our site, for the most part we will try to leave them how they have been sent through. This page will be continually updated as information comes though, so continue to check back throughout the week.

Privateer Corner - Monster Energy MX Nationals Round 7: Conondale Qld

BBF KTM: Dylan Long MX2, 8th Overall

Race 1 - Dylan picked a very inside gate, got an awesome jump and thought he had got the holeshot until a pack of two-strokes came screaming around the outside which shut him down and put him at the rear of the field. With an impressive sprint through the pack he caught up to the leading pack which gave him 9th for the first moto.

Race 2 - Dylan picked a different gate, got another good jump off the line. The rider next to Dylan got a bit out of control, so Dylan had to take the throttle off which put him back to around 20th position. He pushed hard through the pack catching up to Luke Clout and raced with Luke to the end which gave him 9th place again.

Race 3 ‰ÛÒ Unfortunately on the last race with a few electrical problems, we couldn‰Ûªt get to the gate in time so he got shut out and had to have the last gate pick. He didn‰Ûªt get the best jump out of the gate, so again starting from the rear of the field he had to push hard to make his way up through the pack. With a few fallen riders and yellow flags, he managed to place 11th.

Dylan has shown he has the speed and the determination to win races. With a bit of good luck we believe that podiums are not far away.

"I love racing Conondale! It is a very fast flowing track with big jumps." Long stated. "I really enjoyed the racing this weekend. I felt very comfortable on the bike, the Kenda tyres hooked up well.

"Unfortunately I had a few problems at the start which were beyond my control, but I was happy with my speed and the way I was able to move up through the pack. It gives some satisfaction that I am still running the same pace as the factory four-strokes."

Dylan invites everyone to follow him on Facebook and instagram @dylanlong5 and BBF Motorsports as there are some great photos and videos of the weekend.

Wilson MX: Luke Wilson MX2, 16th Overall

The Wilson MX race team has again made solid progress, despite being one man down at round 7 of the Monster Energy MX Nationals at Conondale.

The venue at Green Park is a favorite for spectators, but can be a challenging circuit for riders. The track formed up rough early, leaving MX2 pilot Luke Wilson in 18th position at the end of timed qualifying.

Moto one saw Wilson take a mid pack start, and managed to hold his position for the 20 minutes finishing in a solid 15th place.

In moto two, Wilson‰Ûªs result was not unlike the first. Again taking a respectable 15th, keeping the results consistent.

It was moto three that saw Wilson really shine. Pulling a solid start, which saw him hold a top ten position for the majority of the race. In the latter stages of the 20-minute moto, Wilson dropped a couple of positions and settled for another 15th.

With three solid motos, a 16th overall at Conondale was a step in the right direction and a positive result for the Wilson MX Team.

‰ÛÏIt was a good day. The first two races I sort of came from the back of the field to 15th,‰Û
Jesse Dobson - Credit: Aaryn Minerds
Pro KTM Motorcycles rider, Jesse Dobson showed just how he can ride on the weekend at Round 7 of the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals held at Green Park, Conondale.

Dobson who has qualified inside the top ten at most of the rounds of the series has shown good form, however small mistakes have seen him yet to finish inside the top ten at previous rounds, until the weekend.

In the opening moto, Dobson was sitting in 3rd position for the majority of the race until going down while making a pass on Jay Marmont for second position. He recovered quickly to finish the race in 6th place.

After another solid start in moto 2, Dobson was in 5th position, but went down again trying to pass Ben Townley on the slick circuit which left him with broken throttle cables. With a bad start from the inside in the final moto , Dobson managed to finish an overall of 8th position for the day.

‰ÛÏOver the last three weeks I‰Ûªve done a lot of suspension testing with my new mechanic Casey." Dobson stated. "We changed everything to suit my style and now I‰Ûªm feeling great on the bike.‰Û

DPH Motorsport Yamaha Racing were dealt some up and down results at round 7 of the MX Nationals in Conondale, suffering bad luck along with a handful of outstanding results.

The track at Conondale is known as one of the toughest on the 2014 calendar, and had the ability to catch out even the most experienced riders. Qualifying saw round 6 champ Mosig, qualify in 7th and Martin in 9th, providing a positive foundation for the round.

Moto one was simply one to forget. Mosig starting off in fourth position, then moving into third only to suffer mechanical problems, which saw him forced to DNF. Martin also suffered bad luck, taking a huge fall mid-moto, which saw him injured - but managing to circulate to finish in 17th.

Moto two was the highlight for the team for round 7. Martin having seen Racesafe for a hand injury was able to put a solid moto together and take 7th. While Mosig again proved his spot at the pointy end of the field, taking 5th respectively.

In the third and final moto, Mosig again showed speed and determination, picking off top riders to finish the race in an impressive third. Unfortunately Martin‰Ûªs bad luck continued, and two laps in was forced to return to the pits with a flat tyre resulting in a DNF.

At the conclusion of round 7, the DNF‰Ûªs during the day hurt the DPH boys and their overalls for the round. Mosig finishing the round in 12th, and Martin in 17th.

Round 7 of the MX Nationals held at the challenging natural terrain track of Conondale marked the return of the Yamaha Australia supported racing team.

The DMR Racing team has had many of highs and lows throughout this season having to sit out 4 rounds due to personal commitments.

During the mid-season break the team partnered up with Moto-X Athlete Development who have the guys stocked with supplements and covering their training regime with their online gym. (madonlinegym.com)

Rider Geordie McGrath suffered a severe hand injury in April, dislocating 3 fingers and damaging ligaments/tendons. This injury has prevented Geordie from physically making a fist, which has been a struggle for him to overcome.

Rider Hamish McGrath has been working on his off bike fitness. As a 2nd Year Apprentice chippy he works 12-hour days, 5/6 days a week therefore fitting in bike time is difficult. Hamish showed strong stamina throughout all three 20 minute moto‰Ûªs Sunday.

GEORDIE MCGRATH #31 ‰ÛÒ MX2 Overall 23rd (18th, DNF, 20th)

‰ÛÏQualifying started off slow for me as I had a crash down the back of the track which ended up with my front end all twisted and I my roll offs played up so I had to come in to the mechanics area to get it all fixed up, I ended up getting 3 laps in qualifying I think and came through at 19th‰Û

Red Bull KTM‰Ûªs Hamish Harwood lost just two points to championship leader Luke Clout with fifth on the day after a crash in the second moto while Brenden Harrison, Dylan Long and Kale Makeham were seventh, eighth and ninth on the day, respectively.

‰ÛÏIt was an okay day for the championship, but racing-wise a pretty horrible day! In the second I got a bad start, went down on the second lap, took a long time to get back on and ended up 12th, which cost me a lot of points.

"In the last I just really didn‰Ûªt feel comfortable on the bike and went backwards a few places which I don‰Ûªt usually do. I lost two points, but we‰Ûªre still here and still healthy, so bring on the last three rounds.‰Û
Kayne Lamont - Credit: Aaryn Minerds
Kayne Lamont‰Ûªs chance of taking the round win was destroyed with his rear wheel after he came up short on Conondale‰Ûªs massive downhill ski jump in Race One. He rebounded with second and third for tenth place on the day, while the Race Three win of Luke

‰ÛÏThe track was suited to me, but in the first race I jumped the big jump and came up a bit short." Lamont explained. "I collapsed a wheel and DNFed.

"Race two I got a decent start again, got up to second pretty quick and stayed there the whole moto.

"Race three I got my worst start of the day and took a while to get to fourth, passed third on the last lap and nearly got second at the finish. I was tenth for the day but if I had got the points in the first moto I would have been on top of the box.‰Û
Luke Arbon - Credit: Aaryn Minerds
Luke Arbon (DNF-6-1) gave the South Australian 11th on the day after collapsing a front wheel on the big extension jump but was able to retain third in the championship.

Hamish Harwood CMR Redbull KTM MX2 - 5th Overall

"The track was disappointing to be honest, it had real potential to be an awesome track but unfortunately it appeared there wasn't enough prep work or water. It came up dusty and dry with not so many ruts, but everyone's got to race the same track. On another note, the weather couldn't have been better!"

Qualifying: - Came in 1st. In qualifying I put down a solid lap at the start of the session which put me in second for most of qualifying before I did my last hot lap which put me in 1st. I felt good on the bike and was wrapped with being top qualifier for the first time.

Moto1: "I had a good start and was in about 4th place. When the race settled in after I went back and forwards a few times I was back in 4th place then moved into 3rd about mid race. I finished the race in a pleasing 2nd place."

Moto 2: "This was a terrible race, it started with a bad start, then a crash early on. I was around 20th with some serious work to do. With a few brutal passes and knocks that were pretty sketchy, I finished the moto in a disappointing 12th."

Moto 3: "I came off the start in about 3rd place which I was happy with, but unfortunately lost a few places during the Moto which was mentally tough for me. By race end I came in 5th place. I struggled a heap with my rear suspension as it wasn't working as it usually does. But no excuses, it was just one of those not so good motos."

"The 2,12,5 results put me in 5th for the day. With not the best day at Conondale, however it only makes me more hungry to train harder and get faster and fitter. Can't wait for the last 3 rounds!

"Special thanks for this round goes to; Brent and Del from Pohara Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park, Jade Thompson from Target MX Coaching, Craig Brown and the Court Family.

"Also a huge thanks to my sponsors: CMR Redbull KTM Motorex race team, Pohara Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park, Target MX Coaching, GC Excavations, Suspension Tech, LKI, Epic Decals, MTF Vehicle Finance, Paramount Nutrition, 100% Goggles, Alpinestars, Pirelli, Battery mart."
