Pozniak and Parker Score Lake Macquarie Championship Clean Sweeps

Posted:

Both Cooper Pozniak and Blake Parker couldn't have hoped for a better outcome to their 2008 Lake Macquarie Motocross Championship campaigns when they scored a clean sweep in their respective classes last Sunday (October 19) at the Awaba MVRG, near Lake Macquarie in NSW. With Pozniak competing in the 7 to Under 10 Years 65cc class and Parker in the 10 to Under 13 Years 65cc, the two riders managed to win three out of three races and came home with the Lake Macquarie Championship trophy for their class. Another rider to enjoy an undefeated Lake Macquarie Championship was NSW YJDT ace, Luke Styke, who blitzed the field in the A and B Grade Lites and he too took out three from three races. Other successful riders in this year's Lake Macquarie Championship were: Dylan Rose (Nippers), Zac Barham (7 to Under 9 Years 50cc Division 2), Egan Mastin (9 to Under 16 Years 85cc), James Flanagan (Junior Lites), Michael Parker (C Grade Lites), and Ashley Odgers (A and B Grade Open). The Lake Macquarie Motor Bike Club would like to thank all the officials, riders and their families, for all their support in making this year's Lake Macquarie Championship a success.
