Pirelli Motorcycle Tyres will be the official tyre sponsor of the 2011 Sunshine State Motocross Series.
With eight rounds of the series in Queensland in 2011, the Sunshine State MX series is set for another exciting year with big fields of riders expected at the first round at Warwick on March 26-27.

Rachael Hearn commented on this new agreement with Pirelli: "Queensland Motocross is excited to welcome Pirelli on board as an event partner to the 2011 Sunshine State Motocross Series. We are very appreciative of the fact that a global brand such as Pirelli, are willing to partner grass root events and assist with the continued growth of our sport. We are looking forward to working closely with Pirelli throughout the series to further this aim in Queensland."
Brenden Stoeckert, General Manager of Link International also commented on Pirelli's involvement, saying, "The Sunshine State Series has a high profile and successful history for Queensland Motocross riders. Link International is extremely happy to have this association with the series for 2011 as the official tyre sponsor with Pirelli tyres".
