The fifth and penultimate round of the Dirt Action Southern AMCROSS series will be played out this weekend (August 2 - 3) at Yarragundry, which is near Wagga Wagga (Riverina District of NSW).
By far the Dirt Action Southern AMCROSS Series is the largest event natural terrain motocross event in NSW is to feature well over 350 riders bringing in competitors from all over NSW.
A total of 17 classes will make up the two days racing which will see Junior riders battle it out on Saturday
Last round winner's Senior rider Adam Hambridge (Over 250cc 4-stroke class and Senior 250cc 4-stroke C Grade) and Junior rider Jason Reed (125cc 13 to Under 15 Years and 250cc 4-stroke 13 to Under 15 Years) are no doubt looking to continue their winning ways.
Each rider competing in the Southern AMCROSS Series battle it out in 3 x 10 minute races and the winners will be decided by who are the most consistent point scorers over the three races in their respected class.
Also this weekend in NSW is the Balranald MVRG, which is 1 and a half hours from Hay NSW, will see the running of the annual Yappa Motocross Open, where large numbers of riders are destined to battle it out this year's trophy.
A total of over 200 riders are set to converge at the Balranald MVRG where action is set to be closely fought from the word go.
There is also set to be a 'Dash for Cash' race on the Sunday too and that will certainly see some close and exciting racing as everyone will be trying to get their hands on the cash that is up for grabs. The Top 6 placegetters from the Senior A, B or C Grade 125cc, 250cc, 251cc and the Women's classes that will qualify for the 'Dash for Cash'. Each class will be given a specified amount of laps and the first to greet the chequered flag in their respective class wins the cash.
The Balranald MVRG is located on Baupie Lane, which is a total of 1 and a half hours from the township of Hay in NSW. If you want to go to the AMCROSS round it is at Yarragundry which is located on the Sturt Highway, which is just West of Wagga Wagga in NSW.
