2010 looks set to be a big year for Paul Smith Racing with Paul making the move back to his racing roots and riding once again for Barry Francis Motorcycles ATV Racing.
Smith will be contesting the major ATV off-road events this year on a Honda TRX700XX that will be specifically developed to suit this kind of racing.
The race spec 700XX will be set up for the coming season by Smiths long time mechanic and race engineer Pete Wilhelms who has been building and preparing MX and Offroad ATV for the team for the past 5 years.
There is also an addition to the team with Lincoln Marks coming on board to assist with managing the teams racing program.
With the Thumb Pump 300, Smiths 10th year at the Finke Desert Race and a third attempt at the Australasian Safari all on the cards, the team hopes to make a good impression with the big Honda.
