Round two of the premier series the Yamaha NSW Stadium Motocross Championships heads to Wagga Wagga on this Saturday April 16th, for the second round of the 2005 series. This will be the second year the event will be held in Wagga at the International Speedway, a fantastic viewing venue.
The Speedway lends for a different style track to most of the other venues the series is held at, the speedway infield is much smaller so the track will be tight, and more technical then round one held at Bathurst earlier this year. This will bring the racing a lot closer and riders will not be able to rely on just speed to keep out in front, cornering and jumping will be the key components to mastering the Wagga stadium motocross track.
The Wagga event will be eagerly contested after a three month break from the first round. Many riders have been contesting in the NSW motocross championships along with doing plenty of practice riding, so a lot of riders will be in great form.
The series continue to attract some of the talented high profile riders and hopefully will continue to do so throughout the year. The junior riders love being able to rub shoulders in the pits with the likes of Cody Mackie, Matt & Jake Moss, Danny Anderson and Daniel McCoy and Paul Broomfield. These riders are role models and stars to many of the fans and junior riders.
Sponsorship for the remainder of the series has been secured by Suzuki and Kawasaki Motorcycles who will be co-sponsors of the series, which is very encouraging for many of the riders who ride aboard these brand of bikes.
"Riders have expressed to us that they would like to see their bikes brands involved more, and we are very grateful to see Suzuki and Kawasaki getting involved in this very fast growing series, the continue support of these sponsors helps to improve the series," expressed Phil Sargent of Dirt Bike Promotions.

Tickets are available at the Gate Adults $20 and Kids $12 (under 14) Family (2 adults & 2 Kids) $55. Enquiries on (02) 6362 4437 or 0408 113595.
