Motorcycling Queensland has announced their involvement with the 2011 International Ride to Work Day.
Riders throughout the world will be riding their scooters and bikes on Monday 20th of June to demonstrate that motorcycles are an important form of transportation and recreation.
To help celebrate this occasion, Motorcycling Queensland will be holding a free breakfast at the Ipswich Knights Soccer Club, located at 254 Brisbane Road Bundamba, from 6am ‰ÛÒ 8.30am on Monday 20th of June.
We encourage anyone who owns a motorcycle or scooter to ride their bike to work, and pop in for a free breakfast and coffee on Monday morning. Motorcycling Queensland will also have three times New Zealand Superbike Champion
Robbie Bugden signing autographs and meeting fellow motorcycle enthusiasts on the day.
Lindsay Granger, Motorcycling Queensland General Manager said, "Motorcycles require much less space to park and manoeuvre in busy cities and relieve traffic congestion. They are also environmentally efficient and cause less pollution. Motorcycling Queensland supports riders in all forms of motorcycling activity, including commuting."
Ride your motorcycle or scooter to work and show everyone the advantages and responsible use of resources by taking part in this activity.
