Moto Podium For Monster Energy Kawasaki‰Ûªs Adam Monea at Toowoomba

Monster Energy Kawasaki riders Adam Monea and Jay Marmont stepped it up a notch at the team‰Ûªs 2013 Monster Energy MX Nationals home race at Toowoomba, QLD over the weekend.

Adam Monea bounced back from an 8th place finish in moto 1 to take a well deserved 3rd in moto 2. Although he finished just outside the top 5 (with his 8-3 results leaving him in 6th place for the round), Adam Monea‰Ûªs speed at Toowoomba, especially in the second moto is very encouraging heading into the final round and upcoming supercross series.

‰ÛÏI‰Ûªm happy with the result but I know I can still do better." Monea stated. "I didn‰Ûªt gel with the track and I know my I‰Ûªve got more in me so I‰Ûªm really looking forward to Coolum next week.‰Û

Monster Energy Kawasaki race team manager, Troy Carroll was pleased with his riders speed at Toowoomba.

‰ÛÏWithout a doubt it has been a tough motocross season for the team but the boys both rode very well today and were battling at the front for podium positions. " Carroll explained.

"It‰Ûªs a shame things are coming together and gelling better towards the end of the season but that‰Ûªs racing. We‰Ûªll do our best to go out on a high note at Coolum next weekend and then prepare to defend our Australian Supercross Championship title," he concluded.

The 2013 Monster Energy MX Nationals wraps up at Coolum, QLD next weekend with team preparations already in place for an all out assault on the upcoming supercross championship where Jay Marmont will line-up with his number 1 plated Kawasaki KX450F to defend his title.
