Moss institute riders are after some clean sweeps at the final round of the Rockstar New South Wales Motocross tittles this weekend at Cessnock, NSW.
Matt Moss went 4 from 4 in the Pro Lites at the previous round and Ben Hussey has made punters sit up and take notice with an impressive 6 from 6 in the premier 85cc class after only 2 rounds so far.
Heading into the final round this weekend Moss also leads the open class by 20 pts.
"I have really enjoyed the NSW title," Matt Moss said. "There has been some tough guys out there racing which make it more satisfying to get some wins. A fair few of the guys I compete against in the Nationals turn up and the events are top notch so to win against these guys feels good. Overall the series has been great for keeping my race fitness up and I am looking forward to trying to keep the wins coming this weekend," he added.
Another young rider with a big future, Cameron Soliman, has totally dominated the U/19s class and heads to Cessnock with a solid 23 point lead.
Head coach Greg Moss said, "I am really pleased with the results our riders have been achieving and the commitment and dedication they have shown. Team riders such as Jake Ridley, who is also running 2nd in the junior Lites and Hayden Mellross who 2nd in the 85cc class along with Meaghan Ruttledge and Speedy rider Jarred Jeffcoat are near the front. In the 65cc class Kyle Moore sits in 2nd and Jordan Hill in 3rd. All the junior riders are looking to improve this weekend. So from a coaching point of view it's good to see the results of a lot of hard work by our staff and the riders. Hopefully this weekend we will get more runs on the board," he concluded.
