Serco Yamaha's Jake Moss (Senior A and B Lites) and Dylan Gosling (Junior 13 to Under 16 years 85cc) walked away from last Sunday's (May 13) Nowra Motocross Masters held at the Yerriyong MVRG (Motor Vehicle Racing Ground) in dominant fashion, by winning three from three races, in their respective classes.
A total of 155 riders in both Junior and Senior classes took part for the 16th running of the annual Nowra Motocross Masters at the Yerriyong MVRG, which is situated a short distance from Nowra on the South Coast.
Moss, who resides on the South Coast at Sussex Inlet and currently leads the Nokia MX Nationals Pro Lite class, was far too quick for his rivals in the A and B Lites class by winning all three races and defeating
Kurt Chalker and South Autralian
Shaun Williamson overall, whilst in the Juniors Gosling did likewise in the 13 to under 16 years 85cc finishing well ahead of nearest rivals
Kenny Elvy and
Josh Gilbert in the overall point score at the completion of the three races.
Other overall winners in the senior ranks were
Dean Hanger (C Grade Open) and Nowra based
Axel Madge (C Grade Lites). In the junior classes overall wins were shared between Gosling (13 to Under 16 years 125cc and 250cc 4-stroke),
Hayden Mellross (9 to Under 12 years 85cc),
Dylan Heaton (7 to Under 10 years 65cc),
Dylan Wills (10 to Under 13 years 65cc), and
Brendan Tanti (7 to Under 9 years 50cc).
Nowra Motorcycle Club (NMCC) would like to say a special thanks all the riders and spectators for supporting this event, and rated it as a big success with plenty of closely fought racing.
