Motorcycling New Zealand has announced the team that will contest the 2012 Monster Energy Motocross of Nationals in Lommel, with all three riders currently competing in the Australian Monster Energy MX Nationals championship.
The Team will be headed by current Australian MX Nationals MX1 championship leader Josh Coppins, while Cody Cooper who currently sits fourth in the Australian series will ride in the MX3 for the Kiwis.
2012 revelation and Australian MXD points leader Kayne Lamont in the Under 23 MX2 class.
New Zealand will also be sending two Reserve riders to give them a taste of what the event is like, giving their future riders a unique opportunity that is not often seen. The two reserve riders will be Rhys Carter and Hamish Harwood.

"They will be attending the event to work with the team prior to and at the event to have an understanding of the magnitude of the event, these riders will be contracted to MNZ with performance indicators to meet for the future." he added.
The team will be managed by 2007 World Veteran Motocross Champion Pukekohe‰Ûªs Tony Cooksley
